Clarence will fight to improve Maryland's environment by:
Over the past four year's, Clarence has voted to:
- Preserving open space in Baltimore and Howard Counties
- Expanding mass transit options to reduce traffic congestion and pollution
- Encouraging investments in clean, renewable energy sources
- Cleaning up the state's waterways and preserving the Chesapeake Bay
- Advocating for continued efforts to reduce noise from BWI Airport and to hold the FAA accountable for addressing noise concerns
Over the past four year's, Clarence has voted to:
- Ban hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") in Maryland
- Protect bees and other polinators that are vital to advancing agriculture and the environment
- Encourage utilities to buy more energy from renewable sources like wind, solar, and hydroelectric in order to boost the renewable energy industry, creat high-paying jobs, reduce air pollution, and combat climate change
- Increase funding to Program Open Space, a state program that protects undeveloped areas, preserves agricultural lands, and helps support parklands
- Have the State of Maryland meet the goals of the Paris Climate Accords
